Samsung IT School is now accepting applications for the 2024/2025 academic year

Samsung Innovation Campus social and educational project has opened the enrollment of students for the Samsung IT School for the 2024/2025 academic year. High school and college students under the age of 17 are invited to study under the program. During one academic year, the participants of the Samsung IT School will study Java programming as applied to the modern development of mobile applications for the Android. Applications for admission are accepted from April 1 to September 8, 2024.

Enrollment in the Samsung IT School course is based on the results of two stages of entrance tests. The first qualifying stage is an online test that must be completed on the Samsung IT School website from April 1 to September 8, 2024. The results of the first stage will be available within 2 days. Candidates who have successfully passed the online testing will receive an invitation to the second stage. It will be held in person at all sites of the project from August 19 to September 15, 2024. Education at Samsung IT School is free of charge.

The IT sector is one of the most attractive in the labor market: competition among employers for IT specialists is more than three times higher than in other fields. Thanks to the Samsung IT School, every academic year more than 1,500 students get the opportunity to become in-demand specialists. In addition, the annual student project competition «IT School chooses the strongest!» is included in the «List of Olympiads and other intellectual and creative competitions, events aimed at developing intellectual and creative abilities» of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation. This allows graduates of the project to receive additional points when applying to universities.

Since the launch of the Samsung IT School in 2014, more than 5,356 graduates in Russia and Armenia have completed the annual program with a Samsung certificate, 12% of them with honors. To date, full-time classes at Samsung IT School are held at 46 sites in 38 cities, as well as online.

Samsung IT School is a partner of the Mobile Development direction of the federal IT Cube project, within the framework of which centers for the development of IT creativity for children and adolescents operate in the regions of Russia.

In addition, the program is a partner of the annual Moscow Pre-professional School Olympiad. The «Information Technologies» profile, which was partnered by Samsung IT School, allows us to highlight gifted high school students interested in obtaining higher education in scientific and technological engineering programs. The event is organized by the leading universities of the country: RTU MIREA, MISIS, HSE, MIET, Plekhanov Russian University of Economics, Moscow Polytechnic University. In 2024, the final stage of the Olympiad was held on March 30-31 at the RTU MIREA and MIET.

Samsung IT School regularly acts as a partner of the section «Development of mobile applications for Android» of the All-Russian competition of scientific works of schoolchildren «Junior». «Junior» is an Olympiad for students in grades 9-11 with a research component, consisting of a subject Olympiad and the defense of a scientific project. Samsung experts joined the jury of the Olympiad finals, which took place on March 24, 2024 at the MEPhI National Research University. Frequent winners of the Junior competition are graduates of the Samsung IT School.

The Samsung IT School has been awarded the Runet National Prize twice: as a separate project in the Science and Education nomination and as part of the Samsung Innovation Campus global initiative in the Education and Personnel nomination.
